Tribute To Star <3
Henny
It’s impossible to fill the void that Henny left. His old soul and huge loving heart made him truly one of a kind. Henny was wise beyond his years from when he was a little goofy puppy to his last days as our Old Man Henny. I was never alone because I had Henny’s love and guidance. It will be tough watching our Buckeyes play without my game day buddy. Henny has earned his infinite good boy bones now that he’s comfy and resting easy, looking over me. Love you forever GOOD BOY HENNY
Emmie
Emmie was a gift sent down from heaven. She watched over us for more than 10 years and it was time for God to take his angel home. She was full of personality and love. She never met a stranger and anyone who had the pleasure to meet her knew it was a blessing to have an angel in their presence. There will not be a day that passes by without thinking of her. We thank God every day for sharing her with us, and will continue.
Rocky
Rocky came to his family as a nine month old puppy. He was a gift from mother to son after years of asking for a dog. He had many heathy issues that the family lovingly work through. Rocky grew into the most loyal companion who just blended perfectly into the family. He needed no training as he just got it right. He was loved so dearly and brought joy to everyone he met. He will always be remembered with love and the beautiful ways he changed the people who loved him.
Rocky was someone who came to our family when we needed him the most. He always brought smiles and laughter to our family when there was difficult time. He always lend an ear for us to vent out our days and always find a way to keep pushing ourselves to be better. Rocky forever left a imprint in our heart and mind.
Rufus
Rufus came to his family at a wee 2 lbs. He had the good fortune of having 2 young children in his new family to see into adulthood. His good fortune extended to having a personal chef (abuela) prepare him Cuban cuisine as desired. Rufus often spent time at the homes of other family members as he was cherished by many. Rufus was there for everything, he was loved fiercely and will be missed dearly. Rest easy beautiful boy.
Bella
Bella departed her loving family at 16 years of age. She was able to achieve this impressive lifespan through sheer perseverance. determination but mostly love. Not bad for the runt! Her medical challenges certainly had the odds against her. Despite those hurdles, she had a life full of joy, travel, adventures, and complete family inclusiveness. One of her favorite things to do was swim. It was difficult to keep her out of the water. It was more difficult to not fall under the spell of her beautiful smile. Her light could shine so bright that everyone around her could feel the glow. She will be missed dearly and loved forever.
Leopold
Léopold was a handsome boy who kept his youthful glow late into his geriatric years. He is remembered as a fierce protector and guardian of his loved ones. He was a hard worker who never missed his daily perimeter patrol. Léopold was a well-traveled companion who spent many years abroad in France or wherever his pack took him ❤️ Most of all he is remembered for his love and devotion. He will be missed dearly but remembered fondly.

Olive
Olive found her home & companion after she was left at the animal shelter. Her new caretaker was a regular volunteer at the shelter. Olive was extremely depressed and made no action to increase her chances of adoption. Her new caretaker saw right through that and knew immediately they belonged together. Together they stayed until Olives last day. Olive is honored for the countless days of companionship, love and joy she encompass.
Cachie
You were my first baby and spry to the end. I always remember your beautiful face as it is in this picture. Staring at me, always staring at me. Unless, of course, you were retrieving. Anything from a down tree to a shred of mulch. You would jumó in a freezing river but not walk in the rain. We lived so many places and I was always safe with you. It was an honor to be your person, I will mourn and celebrate you forever. My irreplaceable girl.

Sydney
When I started to volunteer at the rescue, I was not looking for another dog. You were a shy, sweet overweight girl who sadly wasn’t getting any attention from potential adopters. Once the rescue discovered you had diabetes, I knew I had to take you home. Two years later, you lost your eyesight, but that never kept you down. You continue to be the sweet, loving princess of the house. I had nine years with you and I will never forget you. Our paths were meant to cross at the rescue, and I am forever grateful for that.
