DR. LEAH TIBBALS, DVM

I am certified in Companion animal Euthanasia (CAETA). This provides for additional detail to the individual pet’s needs. The customized attention gives an overall better euthanasia experience for caregivers and patients. I have worked in Veterinary General Practice, Emergency, Shelter, and as a Veterinary Preventative Medicine Officer for the U.S Army.

I have lived in many areas of Miami since 2008 and have come to love the eclectic vibe. All of Miami is a pet-loving community full of people that consider their pets part of the famiy.

I graduated from St Georges University Grenada, West Indies in 2007, completed my 4th-year clinical rotations at UF Gainesville. I moved to Miami after graduation where I explored many facets of Veterinary medicine, including joining the Army reserves as an officer of Veterinary Preventative Medicine. I had always thought I would open an in-home euthanasia business later in my career, but then Covid hit and it occurred to me – why wait?

MISSION STATEMENT

To help companion animals and their caretakers in the death process with compassion and dignity. To honor the human-animal bond and its place in our hearts and society. In honor of euthanasias that I perform, donations have been made in the name of the beloved pet to a charity.
